Down to Defeat Goes Houston, 6-4
|
The Washington Hitmen topped the Houston Titans, 6-4, in Federal League action at RFK Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Washington pitcher Luis Garcia. The defeat makes Houston 9-3.
Washington took a 6-4 lead on Bo Bichette's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Bichette hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Houston pitcher Jordan Wicks visibly frustrated.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Bichette told the Washington Bulletin.
