Ironmen Deal Denver 6-4 Defeat
The Pittsburgh Ironmen defeated the Denver Bears, 6-4, at PNC Park. Pittsburgh first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. had a superb performance. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Pittsburgh reliever Gregory Soto picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Kyle Finnegan absorbed the loss. Andres Munoz notched his 4th save of the season.

Pittsburgh took a 6-4 lead on Gleyber Torres's 3rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Torres hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Denver pitcher Tim Hill visibly frustrated.

"We're in a rut," said Denver manager Aaron Hill.

With the loss, Denver drops to 4-9.
