Houston Titans starter J.P. France pitched a strong game against the Carolina Riptides at New League Park, leading the Titans to victory, 3-1. France yielded 1 run over 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 2. His record improves to 3-0. At 10-3, the 2026 Titans have been excellent so far.
The Titans got a big at-bat from third baseman Sal Stewart. For the game, Stewart went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Houston a 3-1 lead.
