Behind the hitting of Royce Lewis, the Detroit Demons stopped the Portland Jaguars, 5-4. Lewis was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Demons. With the loss, Portland falls to 3-10.

Lewis had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-2 slider from Greg Weissert, he banged a run-scoring double to left, giving the Demons a 3-2 lead. It was the 4th double of the year for Lewis.

"This was a total team effort," said Lewis.
