The home crowd had a good time watching the Boston Minutemen and Portland Jaguars get after it.

The timely hitting of Alex Bregman helped the Portland Jaguars down the Boston Minutemen, 8-4. Bregman went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs for the Jaguars. The loss drops Boston to 8-7.

Julio Rodriguez hit a run-scoring triple off Joe Ryan in the bottom of the third, which put the Jaguars in front, 3-2. Rodriguez had 2 singles, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 3 for 5.

"Enjoyed this one," Rodriguez told the Portland News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
