Explorers Walk It Off for 8th Win of Season
The Chicago Explorers topped the San Francisco Dragons, 9-7, at Baron's Ballyard. Chicago right fielder Jesus Sanchez was a spark plug for the offense. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Chicago reliever Jeremiah Estrada got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Austin Gomber was tagged with the loss. With the loss, San Francisco is 8-7.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Sanchez hit a changeup from Austin Gomber for a 2-run home run. The Explorers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"He who laughs last laughs best," Sanchez said, postgame.
