Snakeyes Rally Late to Clip Chicago
The San Diego Snakeyes had to overcome a fine effort from Chicago pitcher Aaron Civale to win, 6-5, at Petco Park. Civale went 6 innings and allowed 3 runs. The victory makes San Diego 8-7.

Had Harry Ford not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Ford hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Snakeyes.

"Nice win for us," said Ford. "Now we'll go after the next one."
