In a tight tilt between the Detroit Demons and the Boston Minutemen, Shane Bieber was the deciding factor. The Detroit right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Nick Anderson was credited with the save for Detroit, his 5th of the season. Detroit goes to 11-5.

The Demons got a big at-bat from shortstop Royce Lewis. For the game, Lewis was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Detroit a 2-0 lead.

Detroit manager Marc Buffington said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
