Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Pittsburgh Ironmen and Portland Jaguars.

The Pittsburgh Ironmen defeated the Portland Jaguars by the score of 5-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to second baseman Gleyber Torres. Torres went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 for the Ironmen on the day. Andres Munoz closed the door for Pittsburgh, picking up his 6th save of the year.

Pittsburgh used a timely hit from Nick Allen to get the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Ironmen ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"The vibe's good," said Pittsburgh manager Ryan Morneau. "We've got to keep it going."

The Jaguars, now 4-14, continue their sluggish start.
