Titans Deal Portland 7-3 Defeat
|
The Houston Titans polished off the Portland Jaguars by the score of 7-3. The largest share of the credit belonged to left fielder Marcell Ozuna. Ozuna went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Titans. The win went to Andrew Morris in relief, making him now 2-0. Cade Cavalli took the loss for Portland. The Jaguars, now 4-15, continue their slow start.
Houston took a 6-3 lead on Ozuna's 7th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off David Festa in the top of the seventh, propelled Houston to the win.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Ozuna. "And not try to do too much."
