The Millers grabbed a win, 7-2, at Target Field, overcoming a fine effort from Georgia pitcher Bryce Miller. Miller went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Minnesota reliever Cade Smith picked up the win, raising his record to 2-1. Taylor Rogers was tagged with the loss. Georgia falls to 8-13.

Endy Rodriguez went 2-3 with a double and was hit by a pitch for Minnesota. The 25-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Taylor Rogers. It was his 4th RBI of the season.

"Feels good to get the job done," Rodriguez said after the game.
