Starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani pitched well enough to help the San Francisco Dragons beat the Denver Bears, 6-4. Bryse Wilson, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. At 14-7, the Dragons have played well so far.

The Dragons got a big at-bat from second baseman Jazz Chisholm. For the game, Chisholm went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs. In the top of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 4th home run of the season gave San Francisco a 3-2 lead.

"Shohei is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said San Francisco manager Joe Turnage.
