Snakeyes Take Nail-Biter Over Stars
San Diego catcher Harry Ford helped his team beat the Cincinnati Stars, 8-6. Ford, who is rated as the 84th best prospect by BNN, went 3 for 5 for the Snakeyes. San Diego reliever Yennier Cano picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Ryne Stanek took the loss. With the loss, Cincinnati is 14-7.

San Diego got a knockout punch from Vinnie Pasquantino. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said San Diego manager Kelly Woolsey.
