The Carolina Riptides coasted to a win over the San Diego Snakeyes, 10-3. Deyvison De Los Santos had a good day at the plate for Carolina. He was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Tarik Skubal was the winner. He's now 5-0. The loser was 33-year old left-handed pitcher Robbie Ray. The Snakeyes fall to 8-13 and continue to sputter in the early going.

Early in the game, De Los Santos had a 2-run home run for Carolina. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Riptides on top, 2-0.

"It was sure nice to get the win but there's a lot of baseball left," De Los Santos after the game.
