Diamonds 7-1 Winners Over Montreal
Anaheim Diamonds starter Jon Gray turned in a top-notch performance against the Montreal PoorBoys at Big Donut Stadium. The result was a win for the Diamonds, 7-1. Gray, now 3-1, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing no runs. The PoorBoys fall to 9-14 and continue their sub-.500 start to the 2025 season.

The Diamonds got a big at-bat from first baseman Brandon Lowe. For the game, Lowe hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Anaheim a 2-0 lead.

Said losing manager Garrett Woolsey: "The at-bats, obviously, needed to be better."
