The Pittsburgh Ironmen weathered an outstanding game by Baltimore catcher James McCann to topple the Wildcats, 7-6. McCann was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Kevin Kelly recorded the save for Pittsburgh, his 1st of the season. The loss drops Baltimore to 10-13.

Pittsburgh needed the clutch hitting of Luis Arraez to seal the deal. The second baseman swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Ironmen on top, 6-4. For the game, Arraez had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Arraez, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
