Stars Use Late Score to Top Wildcats, 3-2
|
Cincinnati Stars starter Kodai Senga was dealing. He helped his team knock off the Baltimore Wildcats, 3-2. The winner in relief was Jose Butto. He is now 2-0. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. The loss has the Wildcats at 9-14.
Heliot Ramos was the walk-off hero for Cincinnati. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Stars left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We were in it," said Baltimore manager Joe Bubanj. "We just didn't score enough runs."
