Titans Walk It Off for 17th Win of Season
Tomoyuki Sugano never let Texas get something going. The Houston right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Titans to a 3-1 win. The triumph makes Houston 17-6, as the team begins another long trek toward the playoffs in 2025.

Houston got a knockout punch from Derek Hill. The center fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Titans manager Joe Smith, "I like our chances."
