The Seattle Sting converted a terrific effort from starter Jose Quintana into a win over the Boston Minutemen at Boeing Field. The Sting won the game by a final score of 5-2. The winner was Quintana. He threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Hunter Brown. Seattle goes to 10-14.

The Sting got a big at-bat from right fielder Johnathan Rodriguez. For the game, Rodriguez was 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Seattle a 3-1 lead.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Rodriguez. "And not try to do too much."
