Early, Bears Put Clamps on Demons
The Denver Bears got a magnificent effort from pitcher Connelly Early, who kept Detroit hitters in check en route to a 3-0 Bears win at Coors Field. Brandon Williamson was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. The Demons fall to 9-14 and continue to sputter in the early going.
