Titans Roll Past Snakeyes, 9-1
|
Titans catcher Braxton Fulford put his stamp on his team's 9-1 win over the San Diego Snakeyes. Fulford went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Houston in the contest. Tomoyuki Sugano, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 6 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 1-1. The Snakeyes drop to 12-13 and continue their mediocre start to the 2026 season.
Houston second baseman Owen Miller contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 26th hit of the season and put the Titans ahead, 3-1.
