Win Lifts Minutemen to 14-12
Getting a good performance from left fielder Randy Arozarena, the Boston Minutemen defeated the Denver Bears, 8-5. Arozarena went 2-3 with a home run for the Minutemen. Hunter Gaddis came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record now stands at 2-0. The loss makes Denver 14-12.

Boston used a well-timed hit by Trevor Larnach to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Minutemen ahead, 5-4. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Boston manager Tony Byrne.
