Cease K's 11 En Route to 3-0 Riptides Win
|
Carolina and Bronx duked it out and the Riptides came out victorious.
The Carolina Riptides went home winners at Magnum Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Dylan Cease. Cease stifled the Bronx Bombers, enabling Carolina to grab the 3-0 win. Peter Fairbanks wrapped it up, recording his 3rd save.
The Bombers had their hands full with Cease, who overpowered Bronx hitters while racking up 11 strikeouts.
"Dylan can bring it," said Carolina manager Rob Hansen.
After losing, Bronx is 12-15.
