Wildcats Stumble, Losing to Demons, 7-1
The Detroit Demons downed the Baltimore Wildcats, 7-1, at Toyota Field. Stellar pitching by Bryan Woo had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 6th in the FL in quality starts with 3, handcuffed his opponent all game. Woo, now 2-2, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. The defeat makes Baltimore 9-17.

Detroit used a clutch at-bat from Royce Lewis to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Demons ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Lewis called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
