Boston Tacks 7-2 Loss on New York
|
The Boston Minutemen faced a tough opponent in New York pitcher Bailey Ober, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Fenway Park by a final score of 7-2. Ober went 6 innings and allowed 3 runs. Beau Brieske snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-1 on the season. Bailey Ober suffered the loss. Boston, now 10-16, is off to a slow start.
Boston took a 3-2 lead on Trevor Larnach's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Larnach hit in the bottom of the seventh, left New York pitcher Gregory Santos visibly frustrated.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Larnach.
