Bandits Walk Off with 8-5 Win
Tampa Bay second baseman Ozzie Albies contributed significantly to his team's 8-5 win over the Seattle Sting. Albies, who finished 2nd in the FL in wins above replacement with 7.3 in 2022, went 2 for 3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Bandits. The win belonged to Matt Strahm in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Josh Hader took the loss for Seattle. Tampa Bay, now 16-10, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Albies dealt the big blow in the bottom of the ninth. That's when he launched a 3-run home run off Seattle pitcher Ryan Brasier to win it for the Bandits.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Albies said in his postgame press conference.
