Ruiz Goes Deep Twice in 10-4 Bears Win
The Denver Bears defeated the Boston Minutemen, 10-4. Doing his part was catcher Keibert Ruiz, who was 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Seth Lugo, the winner, goes to 3-2. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, with 2 walks and 6 strikeouts over 5.1 innings. Boston now is 14-13.

Bryan Reynolds had a big 2-run double for the Bears in the bottom of the third inning. With Denver trailing 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Joe Ryan and swatted a double to center. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bears ahead, 2-1.

"Winning is contagious," said Reynolds. "We're looking forward to the next game."
