Yastrzemski Homers Twice in 14-3 Win
Behind a fine performance from Mike Yastrzemski, the Philadelphia Phalanx knocked off the San Francisco Dragons, 14-3. Yastrzemski was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Phalanx. Derek Law earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. His record is now 2-0. With the loss, San Francisco is 17-10.

Philadelphia won the game in part because of Blaze Alexander. The second baseman ripped a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Phalanx ahead, 4-1. For the game, Alexander had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"We take it day by day here," said Yastrzemski, "and today was a good one for us."
