Ramirez goes 4-for-4 to Ignite Dragons Offense
|
The timely hitting of Jose Ramirez helped the San Francisco Dragons down the Philadelphia Phalanx, 10-6. Ramirez went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Dragons. Blake Walston got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. The current losing streak for Philadelphia has reached 4 games.
Willson Contreras was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk for San Francisco. The four-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Justin Topa. It was his 60th RBI of the season.
"We got the victory," said Contreras. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
