Minutemen Pin 7-1 Loss on Washington

The home crowd had a good time watching the Washington Hitmen and Boston Minutemen get after it.
The Boston Minutemen picked up a win at Fenway Park, knocking off the Washington Hitmen, 7-1. Starting pitcher Joe Ryan played a key role in the triumph. Ryan picked up the win for Boston, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 6-16.
The Minutemen got a big at-bat from designated hitter Trevor Larnach. For the game, Larnach went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 16th home run of the season gave Boston a 3-1 lead.
"Joe just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Boston manager Tony Byrne.
Boston is 69-70 and Washington, with the loss, 65-74.
