Bears Earn Clutch Win, 4-3
|
The Philadelphia Phalanx got a superb performance from pitcher Logan Webb, but the Denver Bears still won the game, 4-3. Webb threw 6.0 innings of 2-hit ball. The loss lowers the Philadelphia record to 14-14.
Jonathan India came through with a big-time hit for Denver. The second baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"We were the better team," crowed India.
