Demons Deal Riptides 6-5 Loss
The Detroit Demons did just enough to secure a victory over the Carolina Riptides, 6-5, in 10 innings at Detroit Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Emerson Hancock. Detroit reliever J.P. Feyereisen picked up the win to move to 6-2. Chris Martin suffered the loss. Detroit is now 75-74, while Carolina is 79-70.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Detroit shortstop Royce Lewis, facing Chris Martin, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Demons the 6-5 win.

"This place was rockin'," Lewis said.
