Baltimore Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
The timely hitting of Brendan Rodgers helped the Baltimore Wildcats down the Detroit Demons, 4-2. Rodgers went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times for the Wildcats. Baltimore is now 68-84, Detroit 75-77.
Baltimore got a knockout punch from JJ Bleday. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"Walking a team off at the end -- there's no greater feeling," said Rodgers.
