The New York Sharks beat the Pittsburgh Ironmen, 7-3, at Shark Stadium. Casey Schmitt starred for New York. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. With the loss, Pittsburgh drops to 17-12.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Schmitt. "And not try to do too much."
