Washington Tacks 3-2 Loss on Baltimore
Washington catcher William Contreras contributed significantly to his team's 3-2 win over the Baltimore Wildcats. Contreras went 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Hitmen. With the win, Washington has a record of 76-77. Baltimore falls to 65-88.

The Hitmen benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the third. With Rece Hinds at bat and Washington leading 2-1, the Baltimore miscue allowed Washington to plate 1 and take the lead, 3-1.

"Every loss stings," said Baltimore manager Joe Bubanj. "This one is no exception."
