The Bronx Bombers faced a tough opponent in Minnesota pitcher Zach Eflin, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Magnum Stadium by a final score of 5-3. Eflin went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Minnesota's current losing streak has reached 5 games.

The decisive blow was delivered by Luis Garcia Jr. in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 2-run home run off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Jhoan Duran to win the game for Bronx. The home crowd went nuts.

"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Garcia Jr.. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."
