Demons Victors, 6-2, at Boston
Detroit designated hitter Alec Burleson had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Boston Minutemen, 6-2. Janson Junk, the winner, goes to 3-1. He allowed 2 runs on 8 hits, with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts over 6.1 innings. The Demons improved their record to 77-79 by beating Boston.

Detroit used a clutch at-bat from Ozzie Albies to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Demons ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Albies told a Detroit Daily reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
