|
Starting pitcher Tyler Mahle took care of business, helping the Anaheim Diamonds stifle the Baltimore Wildcats, 4-0. Anaheim reliever Hunter Harvey picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Braxton Garrett absorbed the loss. With the win over Baltimore, the Diamonds improved to 68-88.
Alika Williams hit a run-scoring double off Braxton Garrett in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Diamonds in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Williams had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
