Spirit Beaten By Minutemen, 4-2
|
In the 4-2 Boston win over Los Angeles, the impact of Matt Chapman was substantial. Chapman, who is tied for 2nd in the FL in runs scored with 28, was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Drew Rasmussen earned the save for Boston, his 6th. The win gives Boston a record of 16-13.
With Boston trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the first, Chapman hit a slider from Dax Fulton for a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Minutemen ahead, 4-2.
Boston manager Tony Byrne praised his team's "businesslike approach."
