The Carolina Riptides used a great performance from Kyle Bradish, who is tied for 6th in the UL with a 3.21 ERA, to beat the Oakland Roses, 1-0, at IBM Field. The victory gives the Riptides a record of 97-62.

Had Steward Berroa not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, Berroa hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 1-0, in favor of the Riptides.

"I was able to really locate my pitches tonight," said Bradish.
