Polanco Hits 2 home runs in Roses Win
Thanks in large part to second baseman Jorge Polanco, the Oakland Roses beat the San Diego Snakeyes, 10-7. Polanco was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The triumph puts Oakland at 86-75 for the season.

With Oakland trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the third, Polanco hit a cutter from Michael Wacha for a 3-run home run. It was his 25th home run of the season and put the Roses ahead, 6-4.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Polanco.
