Cowser Hits 2 home runs in Explorers Win
The Chicago Explorers stopped the Texas Vipers, 3-0, at Baron's Ballyard. The Explorers got a big game from Colton Cowser, who slugged 2 home runs. The winning pitcher was Andre Pallante. His record now stands at 3-4. The right-hander went 7 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits for the Explorers. Jeremiah Estrada collected his 8th save.

With Chicago leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Cowser hit a changeup from Kris Bubic for a solo home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Explorers ahead, 2-0.

Chicago manager Rock Carpenter commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."

Texas, at 8-23, is off to a poor start in 2026.
