Riptides Win CBA Wildcard Playoff
The Carolina Riptides proved to be too much to handle for the Houston Titans in the CBA Wildcard Playoff, and a sweep was the end result.

Carolina punched its ticket to the CBA Division Series on the strength of a 3-2 win in the deciding game, which wrapped up the series 2-0.

Carolina left fielder Kyle Schwarber, named series MVP, was instrumental in the sweep, as he mashed Houston pitching to the tune of a .500 average, with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 1 runs.
