The Los Angeles Spirit handed the Detroit Demons a 6-4 defeat at Nike Field. Center Fielder Dominic Fletcher starred for Los Angeles. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times. Ronny Henriquez picked up his 9th save of the season. The Demons drop to 14-17 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2026 season.

Los Angeles took a 6-4 lead on Heriberto Hernandez's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Hernandez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Detroit pitcher Colin Poche visibly frustrated.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Fletcher told the Los Angeles Citizen.
