Dragons Clip Wildcats, 2-1, in R2 Contest

The San Francisco Dragons moved to within one game of the CBA League Series, downing the Baltimore Wildcats on the road at Toyota Field by a score of 2-1. Dragons left-hander Framber Valdez had a strong outing. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The win gives the Dragons a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 CBA Division Series.
Valdez, who was born in Sabana Grande de Palenque, Dominican Republic, threw 108 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing no runs.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Baltimore skipper Joe Bubanj.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Toyota Field in Baltimore.
