San Francisco pitcher Shohei Ohtani did his part in helping his team beat the Houston Titans, 7-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Joe Rock picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 4-2. The win puts San Francisco at 19-13.

San Francisco took a 6-1 lead on Ohtani's 14th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Jordan Wicks in the top of the seventh, propelled San Francisco to the win.

"Shohei was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said San Francisco manager Joe Turnage.
