Washington Downed, 7-6, by Minutemen
|
A 4-RBI performance from the 28-year old third baseman Andrew Vaughn helped the Boston Minutemen beat the Washington Hitmen, 7-6. The loss puts Washington at 13-19.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Vaughn hit a slider from Dylan Ross for a solo home run. The Minutemen, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Vaughn.
