Stars Pick Up 4-0 Win Against Anaheim
|
Cincinnati picked up a win at Great American Ball Park, bumping off the Anaheim Diamonds, 4-0. Pitcher Sean Manaea was a major reason the Stars emerged victorious. Manaea yielded no runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 10. His record improves to 3-2. The Diamonds fall to 12-20 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2025 season.
Cincinnati took a 4-0 lead on Pete Crow-Armstrong's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Crow-Armstrong hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Anaheim pitcher Tyler Glasnow visibly frustrated.
"I thought we played a nice game," Crow-Armstrong told the Cincinnati Citizen. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
