The Bronx Bombers knocked off the Minnesota Millers, 7-4, in Union League action at Target Field. Bronx pitcher and Mission Viejo, California, native Tanner Bibee had an outstanding performance. The winning pitcher was Bibee, now 4-0. He tossed 5 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 6. Minnesota's current losing streak is now 4 games.
The Bombers benefited from an error in the top of the sixth inning. Bronx was leading 1-0 when Josh Bell hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Bronx in front, 2-0.
"Winning never gets dull," said Bell.
