The Denver Bears beat the Anaheim Diamonds, 8-6, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Denver first baseman Carlos Santana had an outstanding performance. He was 3-3 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. By defeating Anaheim, the last-place Bears improved to 16-18.
