The San Diego Snakeyes picked up a win at Petco Park, downing the St Louis Sluggers, 4-2. On the mound for San Diego was right-hander A.J. Blubaugh, who played a pivotal role in the win. Reliever Andrew Kittredge picked up the win. His record improves to 2-2. Sam Hentges took the loss. The San Diego win streak is now 3 games.

San Diego took a 3-2 lead on Luis Torrens's 5th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Torrens hit in the bottom of the seventh, left St Louis pitcher Sam Hentges visibly frustrated.

"If you chase it, you need to get it," said San Diego skipper Kelly Woolsey.
